My New Bathroom
Finally my new bathroom is done! It has been a bit of a struggle but the result is just how I imagined – neutral tones, minimal and light. It’s been fun shopping for functional objects like a shower – so many to choose from and so many things to take into consideration. I went for the timeless Silhouet shower system from Damixa. So simple and so luxurious with the hovering super slim shower head and the 1 click – 3 spray settings hand shower. Taking a shower is not only something I do most days but it is also a big pat of my selfcare routine. Sunday nights are dedicated for long soothing showers – and I’m telling you it is bliss in my new bathroom. I had the old tiles covered with micro cement – an easy way to create a sleek and modern surface without the hassel of having to take the old tiles down. I chose a greige shade that compliments the chrome perfectly.

In my shower you will currently find this duo from Sard – Balancing Shampoo, Balancing Balm and Pure Plush Deep Cleansing Foam from bareMinerals that you can shop here and a natural sea sponge.
A must for my new bathroom was a vanity unit that could hold my (too) many beauty products – a desire for something spacious yet simple – and I must say that I chose well. Duravit L-Cube wall mounted vanity unit, with sleek handle-free fronts, designed by Christian Werner. The top drawer is divided into compartments to keep bathroom essentials properly organised. Dreamy right?
The ceramic table top and washbasin is ME by Starck, a series by Duravit and Philippe Starck and it’s finished of with a sleek tap by Damixa – also from the Silhouet series. Hand soap and hand cream by Grown Alchemist.
The ceiling and the walls have been painted the same colour, a creamy light beige that lights up the small room, that doesn’t have much natural light. For lighting I went with three small ceiling lamps from Flos – the Glo-ball Mini. So there you have it – my new bathroom.
