The Car Coat

I have been looking for a clean-cut car coat for a while and found the ultimate one in Oslo a few months ago – but the price tag made me leave it at the store. While I’m saving for that one I got lucky with a more budget friendly price and perfect fit at Arket. The coat is made of 20% cotton and 80% recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles. It has a hidden zip and snap button on the inside to attach padding when the weather gets colder. The garment is part of the Arket 2-in 1 Series, a system of separate functional shell layers and insulating liners that can be combined to suit different weather. A true keeper. Still crazy for a trench coat? Don’t forget this shopping post.
