Essential Picks // New Year’s

New Year

2015 is coming to an end and that means it’s time to look back at the past year and plan for the year ahead. I decided to highlight some of the best editorials, my new beauty favourites, best sale scoop and what I wore most during 2015. A tour de Nouvelle 2015.

Let’s start with the best items I bought for my home. My new Gubi Modern Line sofa, my all white B03 wall art and my Inga Sempé lamp, as seen here featured in Boligmagasinet. I cleaned out most of my old furniture, painted all the walls very white and had my floors fixed. It took forever and was a hassle but worth it.

The three most worn items in my wardrobe is actually the ones I’m wearing in the picture. My beloved very navy and very boxy Céline knit, my cropped pants from & Other Stories and my Céline ballerina pumps

I did quite a few editorials and it was hard to choose only three faves – so here’s four. The latest is this one with Hanna S – simple staples for a night out. The Esther Heesch story had me dreaming of a Stella McCartney silk PJ and the perfect knit and pants combo. Elsa Hosk looked amazing in Louis Vuitton jeans, a simple white t-shirt and denim midi skirts and last but not least – the all white story with Laura Julie. Long dresses and sneakers for summer. Yes please.

Beauty. I have been obsessed with bedtime products like this and this but the new Danish brand Nuori was a new favourite. The launch of Byredo hand care made me happy and I finally got a hold of some Glossier.

The collab I’m most happy with was the shoot with Louis Vuitton, showcasing the ultimate accessories. Still drooling over those black boots.

The best thing I bought on sale was without a doubt this dress – but I was sad that these got away.

My most cherished jewellery in 2015 are my letter necklaces from Blue Billie and Louis Vuitton

With this I say adieu 2015 and hello 2016. Plans for 2016? Will look into that next year – for now – Happy New Year.
