Hoxton Hotel

Last time I visited London, for the Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition, I stayed at the Hoxton Holborn Hotel. If you have ever stayed at Ace Hotel in Palm Springs or Downtown L.A., you will love this place. Super cool and young vibe, amazing food at the Hubbard & Bell restaurant, (I had the caesar salad for dinner and an avocado toast with poached eggs and pistachio nuts with coffee and a carrot juice breakfast), a coffee shop named The Holborn Grind next door on one side and to the other, a beauty salon named Cheeky. Cheeky can fix your nails or treat your feet and do have walk in appointments. A full mani is 20 pounds which is fairly cheap. Leave the small paper bag in your room outside before you go to bed, and in the morning you will find it filled with a granola pot, a banana and OJ if you don’t have time for at sit down breakfast at the restaurant. Cute rooms named Shoebox, Smug, Cosy and Roomy. I was in a Cosy – not the biggest room – but it had everything you need and enough space for two people. The tube is about 2 minutes away by foot and it takes around 10 minutes to walk to Oxford Circus, free Wi-fi, a super cosy lobby packed with people having coffee in the morning and drinks at night (may I recommend the cucumber, gin and lime one) and a Boots right around the corner. They recently opened in Amsterdam and both Paris and New york is planned for 2016. Next time you’r planning a trip to London, make sure you check out Hoxton Hotel Holborn.
